Bunge Hostel is run by the hosts Anki and Micke Boman together with their three sons. During the summers, the children also help with the business, adding to the family-friendly atmosphere.
The Boman family not only runs Bunge Hostel but is also actively engaged in developing Fårösund and the local community. They have been involved in several projects to improve the living and working conditions in Northern Gotland. They also run the trampoline park in Fårösund, which is a popular attraction for both locals and visitors.

Anki and Micke are also active in Fgoik-Fårösunds Gymnastik och Idrottsklubb (the local sports club) and KUNO-Kulturförening Norra Gotland (a local cultural association).
